Enrollment & Re-Enrollment Priorities
1.
Income
eligible, age four to age eligible for Kindergarten entry with certifiable
special need.*
2.
Income
eligible, age three to four, with certifiable special need conditions.*
3.
Income
eligible, age four to age eligible for kindergarten entry.
4.
Income
eligible, age three to four.
5.
Over
income families follow the priority guideline#1 to #4. (not in excess 10% of
total slots.)
* The total number of #1 and #2 does not exceed 10%
of total slots.
Within
each category, priorities will be based on:
A.
Birth
date
B.
Lowest
income
C.
Residents
in contracted geographical areas: Chinatown, North Beach, Richmond and Sunset Districts
D.
Documented
high risk factors
E.
Parent(s)
work in Chinatown, North Beach, Richmond and Sunset Districts or child care is
provided by persons in these communities.

North Beach Housing Residents have first priority to be enrolled in
North Beach Center
All
children, once enrolled in Head Start, are to remain in the program until they
are eligible for kindergarten, except when the child is from a family whose
income has risen substantially and the program may wish to enroll a different
child from a more needy family.

* 北岸公共住宅區的居民有入讀北岸區分校的優先權
家庭收入合格就讀啟明啟蒙學校之學生，有資格就讀至幼稚園入學之年齡，但如其家庭收入大量增高，其學位可能被有更大需要家庭之兒童取代。
啟明啟蒙學校招收合格之家庭，不分種族、膚色、宗教信仰或殘疾。
