Our Services

Kai Ming provides free preschool service for 3 to 5 years old children from eligible families living in San Francisco. Once your children enroll in our program, your whole family will receive a full package of services that are all free of charge. We offer 3 options at different locations: (1) full-day full-year; (2) full-day part-year; or (3) part-day part-year The comprehensive service package includes:

  • high quality multicultural preschool program

  • children's meals at school 
  • children's health screening and referral service 
  • parental education 
  • family support service 
  • children with special needs or Individualized Education Plan (IEP) from San Francisco Unified School District 

We receive funding from Head Start through San Francisco State University Head Start, California Depart of Education and First 5 San Francisco to support the development of young children and their families. There are multiple factors that decide your eligibility. Please refer to Enrollment section for more details about how to enroll your child. You can also contact "Family Advocate" from any location for more information about enrollment.
