History Head Start is a federal program developed in 1965 to help break the cycle of poverty by providing per-school children of low income families a free comprehensive program to meet their emotional, social, health, nutritional, and educational needs. Head Start now serves over 900,000 children and families in all 50 states. Grants to operate Head Start programs are awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Kai Ming was established in 1975 to serve the Chinatown and North Beach communities. currently we re contracted with San Francisco Head Start to provide services to 265 children and families throughout our six kasyno internetowe centers. Additional funds are received from the California Department of Education and First 5 San Francisco to extend the hours at several of our centers.

We will: Incorporate individual and cultural considerations into daily operations; Assess and address changing community trends by working in partnership with other agencies; and Be engaged with current issues in public policies related to the community.
