Kai Ming, Inc.

   Powell Center is located at Kai Ming Inc. main office which offers two part day classes. Morning class from 8-12 and afternoon class from 12:30 - 4:30pm.
   All our activites at Powell Center are directed to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child which are geared to their ages, interests and abilities.
  The activites we plan for children, the way we organize the environment, select toys and materials, plan the daily schedule and talk with children are all designed to accomplish the goals of our curriculum and give your child a successful start in school.
   We adhere to the Creative Curriculum for Early Childhood where children learn by doing and experiencing things first-hand so we endeavor to provide experiences that the children can do by themselves. Teachers may offer guidance but will not do the work for the child. 
   Kai Ming Head Start Powell Center wil be your child's second home where they play while learning and learn while they are playing in the different defined learning areas of their choice. 
   We believe that families are a vital part of the child's growth and development so we welcome and value the support each family member can contribute to the child's easy transition from home to school.
